The Los Angeles Clippers have reportedly inquired about the availability of Andre Iguodala of the Philadelphia 76ers.
Iguodala is widely considered one of the bright young stars of the NBA, but as the 76ers have declined so has his league visibility.
Iguodala averaged solid numbers last season with 17.1 points, 6.5 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game.
What's been lost in this summer's LeBronathon, is the off-season noise the Clippers are making. They have quietly made some interesting moves and if their pieces fall into place, the Clips could surprise a lot of people next season.
With Blake Griffen coming back from an injury, and the potential signing of Tracy McGrady, if the Clippers can add Andre Iguodala their lineup would look quite appealing.
However, there are always the "buts." The only solid lock for the Clippers is Blake Griffen. They have yet to sign McGrady, and the Iguodala addition is a long-shot at best. But the fact that they are trying to make some big moves bodes well for the future of this franchise.
